You must install or update .NET to run this application

Problem

When installing Vistapoint desktop, you might receive the message “You must install or update .NET to run this application”.

Solution

Download and install the .NET components from Microsoft.

You will need:

• .NET Desktop Runtime
• ASP.NET Core Runtime

The versions for .NET 8 are linked below:

When both installations are complete, open Vistapoint.
