How to troubleshoot CAD Manager custom scripts

To test if an issue occurs in the core CAD Manager product or in the custom scripting, you can turn on debug event scripts.

  1. Open the CAD Manager configuration application by searching in the windows search for OCM Configuration. The application is located in the CAD Manager install folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Open Domain\Open CAD Manager\OCMConfiguration.exe
  2. Check the box for Debug Event Scripts.
  3. Click the file icon on the top left and select Save Configuration Locally.
  4. Restart CAD Manager, if open, by opening the hidden menu (arrow up icon) > right click the CAD Manager icon > select Exit.
  5. Perform the action to troubleshoot. When the script is triggered you can click Skip on any event scripts that might be causing the issue. This can help you isolate if the issue occurs in the event script or in the core product.
