How to install and configure for PTC Creo
UpdatedFebruary 3, 2025
The following are configuration changes to consider before using PTC Creo with Vistapoint.
Turn off versioning
If you have versioning turned on in Creo, it will show all the versions in your Vistapoint changes. Vistapoint will create a new version each time at check out and check in. Therefore, you could turn off versioning in Creo to avoid many different file versions in the following steps.
- Open Creo.
- Navigate to File > Options > Configuration Editor.
- Set save_file_iterations to no.
- Click Export Configurations….
- Save the configuration file.
- Restart Creo.
