Trouble logging in

If you are having trouble logging in to the desktop app, try the following:

Make sure you have a login

Contact your administrator to make sure you have a login and access to the instance.

Restart

  1. Close the Vistapoint desktop application.
  2. Close the Vistapoint Assistant.
    -Open the hidden menu by clicking on the bottom right arrow.
    -Right click the Vistapoint icon.
    -Click Exit.
  3. Open the desktop app and try again.

Install the latest version

Make sure you are using the latest version of Vistapoint for your instance. Download the latest version on the web app under Apps > Vistapoint Desktop.

Check your connection

On the desktop app, check that you are using the correct connection link. On the login menu, click Options. Review the active connection to make sure it is correct. The correct connection information can also be shown on the web app under Apps > Connection info.
