Vistapoint June 2025 Release Notes

Desktop app

• Improvement: Added MyWork folder changes rename, move, delete. When a folder is deleted or renamed in Vistapoint, local folders will be renamed or deleted as in Vistapoint.
• Improvement: When checking in a file, there will no longer be an error for files that are used by another process. This helps you check in a part when the assembly is open containing the part.

• Improvement: Added CAD metadata on import. The CAD metadata will now show up in the CSysAttributes (CAD Metadata) index field, if applicable.

Web app

• Improvement: Improved file selection in the web app.
• New feature: Added attribute mapping settings in the web app. You can now map CAD metadata attributes to index fields. To add an attribute to index field mapping rule: https://support.opendomain.com/help-cadmanager/how-to-map-cad-attributes-to-index-fields/ 

Integrations

• Improvement: Improved logging and tested support for SolidWorks 2025.
