SolidWorks Thumbnail Not Updating

Problem

In Vistapoint, the thumbnails are read from the local file system. If the thumbnail on the local file system is not updated, then the one shown in Vistapoint will not be updated. For SolidWorks, the thumbnails are not always updated automatically when saving.

Solution

To force update the thumbnail for SolidWorks, open the SolidWorks file and press Ctrl + Q.
