SolidWorks Creating PDF Automatically

Problem

SolidWorks is creating PDFs automatically on import or check-in.

Solution

You can edit the SolidWorks manager settings temporarily (until the next version) and turn off automatic file creation.

1. Open the file C:\Program Files\Open Domain\Vistapoint\FileManagers\SolidWorksManager\OcmSwLocal.ini.
2. Set  DoSaveAs to 0 (zero).
3. Save the file. If you are unable to save the file because of admin permissions, try to copy the file to your download folder, edit, then copy back to replace the file.
4. Try to import or check-in again.
